Meeting the Expectations in the new Arts Document Music Grades 1-6 with Denise Gagné presenter
In this series of workshops, activities to teach the elements of music and overall expectations in the new Ontario arts document (music strand) will be addressed. Teachers can expect to move, sing, play instruments, play games and create simple pieces for the grade level that they teach. Denise’s workshops are always fun, activity based and very practical. Handouts will include correlations to the 2009 Ontario arts document, assessment ideas, and manipulative ideas. Registration will include a Musicplay teacher’s guide, CDs or optional materials such as Flashcards, Recorder resources, PowerPoints, Games or Listening activities.
